Born on 21st August 1917 in Karachi, India, Syn Johna a Elizabeth Bloorovych z Grays Thurrocku.
In 1929 hew was living in Chadwell Road, "Jalapalar", Grays, Essex, with his siblings and mother. His brother Jack also worked for the British Bata Shoe Company and went to Zlin to train before returning to East Tilbury to work in the Leather Factory.
Zahynul pri leteckem nestesti v utery 14. dubna 1942 ve veku 24 let and is buried (along with other members of the crew of the aircraft) in Shropshire.
Richard started working for British Bata in 1933 and transferred to Zlin in 1934, where he stayed until 1938. He returned to East Tilbury as an Instructor in Department 487.
